Wooden stretcher bars
WOODEN STRETCHER BARS FOR FRAMES AND CANVASES
Wooden stretcher bars for frames serve as the base for displaying and protecting a work of art. Their practical function varies depending on the characteristics of the stretcher bars. These stretcher bars can be used for direct application as a structure for mounting works on foam board, wood, or other materials, and also as stretcher bars for canvases. All of these stretcher bars are essential for both enhancing the visual presentation of artworks and providing a solid and durable base for display.
Among our stretcher bars, you will find FSC© pine finger-jointed wooden stretcher bars and ayous (samba) wood stretcher bars in a variety of profiles, sizes, and finishes, including straight frames and wedge frames.

HOW TO MOUNT WOODEN STRETCHER BAR ON THE WALL:
FSC© finger-jointed pine stretcher bar designed specifically to easily hang any type of frame, stretcher, foam board, or other materials on the wall.
The inclined plane of the stretcher makes the frame sit flush against the wall and remain straight.
It can also be used as reinforcement for large format frames.

HOW TO MOUNT THE STRETCHER BAR WITH THE FRAME:
The wooden stretcher bar is perfect for providing consistency to large format paintings with narrow frames or architect-style frames.
The groove in the shape of a "V" allows us to secure the stretcher to the frame with a screw.
